About
Proudly Australian, built for the world's soils

Authentic, science-backed nutrition
Agnano is an Australian fertiliser manufacturing company based in Narrabri, New South Wales. We make a proprietary nano-particulate fertiliser that delivers nutrients without the leaching, waste, and soil damage of conventional products.

From the Founder
"Farmers deserve fertiliser that works as hard as they do. Most of what goes on the ground today is wasted before the plant ever uses it. We spent twelve years fixing that."
THE SCIENCE
What Agnano does for your crop and soil
Plant-controlled release
The plant decides when to feed. For example, when using our in-furrow fertiliser nutrients stay locked in the particle until root exudates release the organic acids that make them available, so uptake follows the crop's own demand through the season rather than a single soluble flush at application. The result is nutrition that matches growth stage instead of soil chemistry.

Particle science that puts nutrients to work
Macro and micronutrients are manufactured into micro, sub-micron, and nano-scale particles. The smaller the particle, the greater the surface area in contact with the plant, which means more efficient uptake from less applied material. It is the same nutrition, engineered to be reached by the plant rather than lost to the soil or enviroment.

Four loss pathways closed
Conventional fertilisers lose nutrients four ways: leaching below the root zone, volatilising into the air, denitrifying out of wet soils as gas, and fixing onto aluminium and iron. Because our particles are non-water-soluble and pre-complexed, these pathways are largely closed. More of what you apply stays where the crop can use it, including in low-rainfall and difficult soils.

Works with your soil biology and existing programme
The system is compatible with bio-inputs and biological programmes rather than competing with them. Nutrients are delivered without the salt load and soluble spikes that can stress soil life, so the product supports the biology that drives long-term soil function while feeding this season's crop.
